Video Communication & Collaboration for Faculty, Staff, & Students - Microsoft Teams

High level overview of communication options.
There are innumerable services available for online communication and collaboration.

A short but in no way exhaustive list of options:
  • Facetime
  • Slack
  • Discord
  • AIM
  • Google Meet
  • Microsoft Teams
While there is no one solution that will meet the needs of everyone, the law school has settled on Microsoft Teams as our front line small group or face to face collaboration tool. All students, faculty, and staff members have full access to the University's Office 365 ecosystem which includes Microsoft Teams. (Click Here to Download Microsoft Office 365)

Your university email account is run through O365 and unless you have elected to not be in the campus directory, you will be easy to find and communicate with via MS Teams.

As a student, by utilizing the calendar features of Teams, you can set up virtual study sessions and meetings with staff or faculty. By using the Teams feature itself, you can set up groups to discuss class topics, share files, or just share law school experiences.
