How to Submit Attendance through Canvas

These are the steps for a student to mark themselves as present for Law School classes
To be marked as attended for your class you will need to take the Attendance Tracking quiz within Canvas anytime during your class time.  There is also a 10 minute buffer before and after class to take the quiz and be marked as attended. 

IMPORTANT: Your device must be on UWNet or Law wireless network in order to take the quiz
  1. Login to Canvas in a browser or mobile app, canvas.wisc.edu
  2. Go to the Canvas course page for the class you are attending.
  3. Find the Attendance Tracking in quiz.  In most cases this will be in a module on the course home page.  However, depending on professor preference it may be located somewhere else on the Canvas course page.
  4. Take or Re-take the quiz.  Make sure to submit the quiz.
