Webex Meetings: How to Change Your Name and Email as a Guest

This documentation will highlight the steps required to change your name and email address when joining a meeting as a guest from the Webex Meetings desktop application.

Important Notes

This functionality only exists when you are not logged into Webex Meetings and are joining a meeting as a guest user via the Webex Meetings desktop application.
Name and email can only be changed in the pre-meeting configuration window that appears when joining a meeting.

Steps to Change Your Name and Email as a Guest

After joining your desired meeting as a guest user and the pre-meeting configuration window has shown up, select the edit button next to the pre-existing name towards the upper left of the window.

Modify the name and/or the email address you would like to appear during the meeting and select Next.

You will be presented with default pre-meeting configuration screen along with what your new display name is towards the upper left of the window.
