Introducing quality of life improvements, further customization, and performance enhancements, 40.8 will be released on August 4th.
- End-users will be allowed to upload custom virtual desktop backgrounds
- Push-to-talk functionality when you're muted (linked to the spacebar)
- Grid view to become the default view when joining a meeting and no content is being shared
- Administrative credentials no longer required when manually updating Webex Meetings on Mac OS
- Audio and video settings menu expanded and improved
- Introduction of music mode that optimizes audio for sharing this type of content
