Webex Room Kit: Audio Feedback in Meeting

How to eliminate audio feedback while using Webex Room Kit.

While using a conference room with a Cisco Webex Room Kit and members in the room are also in the Webex Meeting and you encounter audio feedback.

Causes: Feedback can come from the devices (laptop) speaker and or microphone.

As a rule of thumb, it is important that members in the Webex meeting that are in the conference room enter the meeting with no audio, otherwise you can encounter the feedback between devices in the room.

Getting Started: When entering the meeting as a participant, you should select No Audio when prompted after joining the Webex meeting as seen below.

When entering a room they should select No Audio.

If they have already entered the room with speaker and mic on as a participant, you will want to make sure both are not enabled.

To Disable Audio: Navigate to the 3 dots in the bottom navigation bar in Webex meeting. Select Audio Connection and choose the red button that says Disconnect Audio.
