Web Hosting - Python Support
DoIT Web Hosting automation software (Plesk) offers limited support for Python applications in a shared web hosting environment.
All Linux customer accounts are run in chroot shells for enhanced security and isolation. Python scripts can be executed in the cgi-bin folder with the .cgi or .py extention. However, Python frameworks generally rely on a promoted shell for dependency management, and it also requires specialized setup in Plesk. This should only be pursued for a single tenant on a host.
