Wisc Account Administration - Manage Shared Mailboxes

Wisc Account Administration site can be used to view or manage shared mailbox accounts.

View listing of shared mailbox accounts

As a domain administrator:

  1. Log into the Wisc Account Administration site
  2. Select the domain you want to manage from the "Delegated Administration" tab.
  3. Expand "Domain Administration". 
  4. Click Shared Mailbox Listing.

    You will see a section listing the accounts which are scheduled for deletion and a section listing all the rest of shared mailboxes.

View status of a shared mailbox

As a domain or authorized administrator:

  1. Log into the Wisc Account Administration site
  2. Search for or select the shared mailbox account.
  3. Expand "Office 365". 
  4. Click Status.

You will have the ability to modify the display name, description, GAL visibility, and delete the account.

View email address(es) associated with a shared mailbox

As a domain or authorized administrator:

  1. Log into the Wisc Account Administration site
  2. Search for or select the shared mailbox account.
  3. Expand "Office 365". 
  4. Click Email Addresses.

You will have the ability to modify the primary address of the account.

Manage full mailbox, send-as, and/or send on behalf of permissions of a shared mailbox

As a domain or authorized administrator:

  1. Log into the Wisc Account Administration site
  2. Search for or select the shared mailbox account.
  3. Expand "Office 365". 
  4. Click Permissions.

You will also have the ability to Microsoft 365 - Manage Full Mailbox, Send As, and Send on Behalf of Permissions.

View calendar permissions of a shared mailbox

As a domain or authorized administrator:

  1. Log into the Wisc Account Administration site
  2. Search for or select the shared mailbox account.
  3. Expand "Office 365". 
  4. Click Calendar Permissions.

View/manage forwarding of a shared mailbox

As a domain or authorized administrator:

  1. Log into the Wisc Account Administration site
  2. Search for or select the shared mailbox account.
  3. Expand "Office 365". 
  4. Click Forwarding.

    You will be able to view/modify/remove the forward on the mailbox.

View inbox rules of a shared mailbox

As a domain or authorized administrator:

  1. Log into the Wisc Account Administration site
  2. Search for or select the shared mailbox account.
  3. Expand "Office 365". 
  4. Click Inbox Rules.

View Junk Mail Filters of a shared mailbox

As a domain or authorized administrator:

  1. Log into the Wisc Account Administration site
  2. Search for or select the shared mailbox account.
  3. Expand "Office 365". 
  4. Click Junk Mail Filters.

View/Manage authorized admins of a shared mailbox

As a domain or authorized administrator:

  1. Log into the Wisc Account Administration site
  2. Search for or select the shared mailbox account.
  3. Expand "Account Administration". 
  4. Click Authorized Admins.
