Microsoft 365 - Types of Manifest Groups

This document briefly describes two types of Manifest groups that are used in conjunction with Office 365.
Departmental/Domain
Used to define custom groups - example uses: NetID invitations or providing service eligibility. These are custom groups created within your departmental/domain Manifest folder.
Format: uw:domain:domain.wisc.edu:custom_description
Request folder | Create group | Creating new NetIDs | Requesting Service-Enabled groups.

Domain Administration
Used to define the domain administrators for your Office 365 domain and to administer NetID accounts.
Format: uw:domain:email.wisc.edu:admins_domain
Manage administrators | Administer NetID accounts.
