Adobe Creative Cloud - How Instructors, Student Supervisors, and Faculty Can Provide Student Access for Classes or Campus Jobs

This document contains information on how faculty and supervisors can provide student access to Adobe Creative Cloud or Acrobat Pro licenses.
Please read carefully to determine the correct form to fill out to get access.

Spring 2026 forms are now available!

New for Spring 2026

All enrolled students will now have access to Adobe Express Higher Education regardless of specific class registration. This includes the features included here: Adobe Express Higher Education features.

There is no action needed to get this access. All enrolled UW-Madison students will have their access updated by the start of spring semester.

If you are requesting access, please make sure that you will need Adobe applications other than Express Higher Education! Thank you for helping us limit Creative Cloud license usage to necessary cases.

Grad Students

There are two ways to get access:

Grad students who need Adobe for instruction/class preparation, research, scholarship, or for preparing their dissertation/thesis can now register for access for the academic year through this link:

Class Registration

Please only submit this form if you are the instructor or a TA for the course, they will be contacted!

If your class is a grad student only class, you may want to use the grad student form above to continue access for a full academic year.

Students are able to register for access once the class is added.

Student Workers

NOTE: Only currently enrolled UW-Madison students are eligible to get licensing through this program.

Please help us free up licenses if your student worker no longer needs access: email adobe@g-groups.wisc.edu with the NetIDs that no longer need access

There are two ways to get access:

The priority for these licenses is for classes and instructional preparation but we have a small pool of licenses for student workers.

If Semester Access is Ending:

Any students scheduled to lose access will be contacted by email.
For students to continue their access, they must be in an enrolled class and register again following the directions in this document: Adobe Creative Cloud - Student Subscription FAQ.
They can also be registered as a student worker if they have a campus job that requires Adobe Creative Cloud access. See the Student Worker section above.

Alternative Access for Ineligible Students:

Students will also be able to access Adobe Creative Cloud, Acrobat Pro, and a variety of other software in computer labs across campus. For students interested in purchasing Adobe Creative Cloud for their own personal computer, Adobe offers a discounted price.
