Accommodations for Examinations

Information about final exam accommodations.

Students who have disabilities that may affect taking examinations for their courses must be assessed at the McBurney Disability Resource Center before the Law School can provide exam accommodations. The Assistant Dean for Student Affairs is responsible for all such accommodations after McBurney staff have completed the assessment. Exam accommodations may include a longer time for the exam, a private room, or other accommodations McBurney deems reasonable. However, accommodations will not be available to students who have not completed McBurney’s assessment process.

Each semester, the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs will post the deadline to make accommodation requests for final exams on the Exam Info page under "Exam Updates." After the deadline, accommodation requests for final exams are not guaranteed.
