Flex parking permits
Valid dates
Flex permits are valid September 1 through August 31. Permits must be applied for each year.
Parking locations and hours
Flex permits are available for pay-per-use, lot-specific parking in these lots from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m., Monday through Sunday:
- Flex Gated lots: 6, 7, 17, 29, 36, 38, 46, 67, 76, 83, OR 95
- Flex Surface lots: 2, 16, 34, 39, 41, 51, 59, 60, 64, 82, OR 91
Flex permits are also valid in alternative campus lots where UW permits are required after hours. After-hours parking is 4:30 p.m. to 7 a.m. Monday through Friday, and all day Saturday and Sunday. Refer to lot signs.

Flex parking payments
Flex permits must be in paid status during a parking lot's hours of control. Refer to lot signs.
- Flex permit holders assigned to and parking in gated facilities (ramps or garages) must add value to their permit online before arriving on campus to park.
- Flex permit holders parking in surface lots must pay through ParkMobile, a third-party payment app.
Exceptions
Vehicles may not be stored (parked) in a parking facility without exiting for more than 72 hours without authorization by UW Transportation Services.
Permits are not valid when a lot is reserved for a special event or closed for construction. Permit holders receive notification and relocation options when a lot is closed.
