KB User's Guide - Documents Tab - Dual Status in Multiple KB Sites

This document explains the SiteStatus field in the Document Information Table when viewing in KB Admin Tools.

When reviewing document in the KB Admin Tools the "Document Information Table" is found at the bottom of the screen.  Among the metadata in this table, is the SiteStatus field which :

  • may display multiple statuses (e.g Active, In Review or In Progress) for a single KB Group
  • indicates whether the document is shared with another KB Site(s)

The image below shows the Document Information Table for a test document:

  • Owned by KB Demo
  • Shared with the Child Demo KB

The SiteStatus field (circled in red in the image above) shows that the document is Active for the Demo space and In Review for the Child Demo space.
