Chrome (Mac) - Checking for a Proxy

This document describes how to check for a proxy in Chrome on Mac OS X.
    1. In your Chrome browser, click on the three vertical dots at the top right corner of the window to open Chrome's overflow menu.
    2. From that drop-down menu, select Settings.
    3. Type the word proxy into the address bar at the top of the Settings page, and click Enter.
    4. From the System results, scroll down to select Open proxy settings.
    5. In the Select a protocol to configure menu, make sure that no boxes are checked/toggled. 
    6. Click OK to save and close.
