Opera (Mac) - Checking for a Proxy

This document describes how to check for a proxy in Opera for Mac OS X.
  1. In your Safari browser, click on the Opera tab at the top left corner of the window.
  2. From that drop-down menu, select Preferences...
  3. In the window that opens, scroll down to toggle the Show advanced settings box (located under the Advanced settings sections).
  4. Then scroll up to the Network section, and toggle the Change Proxy Settings... box.
  5. The Network window should then appear. Open the Select a protocol to configure drop-down menu, and ensure no boxes under it are toggled.
  6. Finally, click OK.
