RSO-ASM- Updating Shared Drive Access

This document shows how to give and remove access to the ASM shared drive.
  1. Navigate to \rso.drive.wisc.edu\rso-shared\ASM\RaDS, and open the "ASM Server Permissions" spreadsheet. Users to add will have a green fill and users to remove will have a red fill. 
  2. Open active directory.
  3. Search for the appropriate group in active directory and add/remove the netID(s) from that group. Possibles groups are:
    1. RSO - ASM - Users - Students
    2. RSO - ASM - Users - SSFC
    3. RSO - ASM - Users - Front Desk
    4. RSO - ASM - Users - Nominations Board
    5. RSO - ASM - Users - Staff
  4. In the excel spreadsheet remove the fill from netIDs to add and delete the netIDs that were removed. Save the changes to the spreadsheet.
