Chaz - Raisers Edge
The Chazen uses Raisers edge for donor management and donation tracking software.
Notes
Runs on a server 2012R2 instance hosted by DoIT CCI and co-managed by SEO and DS. SEO handles patching of the OS, DS owns the applications. Alerts for this server are sent to ds-cci-monitor@doit.wisc.edu.

Backups are scheduled to run every Monday and Thursday. They are stored on the server at E:\re_backup
Procedure
Users of Raisers Edge will need access to the file share at \\chaz-re-tam\re_deploy. By default members of the "Chazen - Users - All" group should have necessary share access.
Install files live at "\\chaz-re-tam.doit.wisc.edu\re_deploy
*Windows 10 Machines will need the .NET 3.5 fixlet pushed to it via bigfix before installation can occur. Other prerequisites will be handled as part of the setup process.
RE Installation Steps
- Navigate to \\chaz-re-tam.doit.wisc.edu\re_deploy and select setup.exe.
- The setup.exe will take you through installing prerequisites and then on to the Raisers Edge installer.
- Accept all defaults and install the software
- The first time you launch Raisers Edge it will prompt you to install an update. Enter admin creds at UAC prompt to continue.
- You will receive a message that the update was successfully installed. The software is now ready to use.
