HDQA Canvas Admin Account
Accessing the HDQA Account

Navigate to Canvas. This link must be open in a new incognito window to prevent your normal Canvas account from gaining complete admin access. (This is a very bad thing)

See the Team Lead to request access to login. You will receive an email with your personal username and instructions on setting a password.

After logging in, you will be presented with the Canvas Dashboard.
MFA
MFA is required for all Canvas admin accounts. See the instructions for setting up MFA for your Canvas Admin account.
Users can enroll with Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or Duo Security.
Searching for a Course
Searching through the Admin tab
- Click the Admin tab on the left side of the window.

Select the type of course that you are looking for. The are 4 "Course Type" options:

Compliance/Institutional Training
-
Course Guide
-
Used for semester courses generated through enrolling
-
-
Lifelong Learning
-
Manually-Created Courses
-
Used for ongoing courses (such as HIPAA training)

- You can search for specific courses and filter your search using the search bar and drop-downs at the top of the window.
Determining if a Course is Published
Look for a green check mark next to a course (under the Published column) to find if it has been published.
A green check mark notes a published course.
- Note: Notice that in this example, "BIOCORE 587 eText Access" has not been published.
