Users can report new tickets with an email address gitlab+smph-dom-adrc-data-panda-10601-issue-@doit.wisc.edu. That email address is truly a mouthful, but it is possible to add that address as an Outlook contact named something like “Panda Bugs” for a slightly easier-to-use handle.

Once tickets are sent, they end up in a queue (https://git.doit.wisc.edu/smph/dom/adrc/data-panda/-/issues) where we (GitLab users and members of the data team) can update the ticket with notes on progress or resolutions. The original reporter of the ticket is automatically notified of updates, and all of those comments are saved so that we have a history for each bug.
