Connecting to eduroam on Windows 11
Instructions for connecting to eduroam natively from Windows 11 (without needing the eduroam configuration assistant tool)
In Windows 11, you can connect to eduroam natively without the need for the configuration assistant tool (CAT).
- In the system tray on the taskbar (the lower right corner by the date and time), click on the quick access settings to connect to a Wi-Fi network. Then select eduroam and click the Connect button

- If you are presented with a warning about the network, click Connect to proceed

- You will be prompted to enter credentials to authenticate the connection. Enter your NetID followed by "@wisc.edu" for the Username field, and your NetID password in the Password field. Then click the OK button to finish connecting.

- Finally, you will see that the connection is established and secured once your credentials are authenticated by the server

- If you are unable to connect successfully please see eduroam - Troubleshooting for further assistance, or Get Help from DoIT.
