How to Access Zoom Usage Reports

Generating Zoom usage reports allows you to access information about past meetings or webinars. This information can help inform decisions or be used for storing data from UW-Madison Zoom accounts that are set to deactivate.

Meeting Registration and Polling

Registration reports contain the following information about users unless otherwise specified in your registration settings:

  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • Data and time of registration
  • Approval status

How to Access Usage Reports

  1. Log into your UW-Madison Zoom account.

  2. Click “Sign In” and enter your UW-Madison credentials.

  3. After signing in, click on “Reports” in the left hand menu bar. 

  4. Select either “Usage” or “Meeting” depending on the type of record you want to access.

  5. Either select the meeting you want to generate a report for from the auto generated list or adjust the search duration to locate your meeting. 

  6. If generating a usage report, after locating the correct time frame, click “Export as CSV File” to download the report.

  7. If generating a meeting report, select the additional report specification desired from the drop down menu located to the right of the search duration buttons. 

    • Your options for a Meeting Report are as follows:

      • Registration Report

      • Poll Report

      • Survey Report

    • After choosing your report type, click the blue “Search” button. This will generate a list of Zoom events that match your search criteria. 

    • Click “Generate” to the right of the meeting that you want to access a report for. 

    • This will navigate you to the Report Queue page. Here you can click the “Download” link next to any of the generated meeting reports to download the data to your local device.
