Locating your Device Name on a Windows Computer

A Device Name is what your device calls itself on the network and how other devices see it, here are the steps to find yours:
  1. Locate the search box in the start bar
  2. Type in "Device Name" and hit Enter (sometimes called Return)
  3. This will bring up a box with your device's name
