This document describes the process for printing to a GoPrint server from personal computers connected to UW-Madison's network.
Click on the Apple menu
and select System Preferences...
Click on the Print & Fax button located in the Hardware section of System Preferences.
Click on the Plus Sign
right under the list of printers to add a new printer.
Right Click or Ctrl-Click on the toolbar showing types of printers to add. Select Customize Toolbar...

Drag the Advanced
from the set of possible buttons to the toolbar you right clicked on previously.

Select Advanced. It may take a bit for the fields to become editable.
Configure the printer as follows:
See GoPrint - Printer Queue Names and Locations to determine what server and queue you want to connect to. The first example is connecting to the Black and White queue at the CALS InfoLab on the goprint.doit.wisc.edu server. The second is connecting to the EARTREF_HP4200N printer on the libgoprint.library.wisc.edu server
Enter a name so you can identify this printer in the future in the Name field. This is what the printer will be displayed as on your computer.

When you print you will be prompted for a username and password. This is NOT your NetID password. Connect as a registered user and use the credentials listed for the server you're connecting to at the end of this document (see GoPrint - Printer Queue Names and Locations).
