WisconsinX Service
What is WisconsinX?
WisconsinX is a grouping of courses and programs offered through the edX platform under the UW-Madison brand. edX is a global platform open to the public to discover and participate in courses offered by academic institutions around the world. The WisconsinX offerings are presented on the WisconsinX dashboard of programs and courses. The global platform is presented at edX.org.
What Services Do We Offer?
The WisconsinX Service Team provides the following services:
- Setting up and managing WisconsinX business processes.
- Setting up and managing WisconsinX data integrations and processes.
- Creating and managing WisconsinX course shells.
- Managing WisconsinX staff user accounts.
- Training and support of WisconsinX staff users on the edX platform.
- Providing support on any issues related to WisconsinX.
- Ensuring compliance of WisconsinX use with relevant UW policies and contractual obligations.
Services Out of Scope
The following services are out of scope for the WisconsinX Service Team:
- Creating, maintaining, and reviewing course content (though you may request these services from the Learning Engineering Group for noncredit courses).
- Communicating with learners about course content.
- Managing data in other UW systems, such as SIS or any CRMs.
