Accessibility Conformance Reports (ACRs)

Accessibility Conformance Reports (ACRs) for AWS, Azure, and GCP.

UW-Madison relies on Amazon, Google, and Microsoft to ensure that their public cloud services are compliant with Section 508 standards for IT accessibility.

Per Section508.gov, "An Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR) is a document that explains how information and communication technology (ICT) products such as software, hardware, electronic content, and support documentation meet (conform to) the Revised 508 Standards for IT accessibility."

A Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) is a template provided by the Information Technology Industry Council that can be used to create an ACR.

Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Accessibility Conformance Reports (ACRs) for AWS products and services are available on AWS Artifact.

To access the ACRs:

Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Google Cloud provides Voluntary Product Accessibility Templates (VPATs) which explain how Google Cloud meets the U.S. Section 508 standard for accessibility.

Microsoft provides detailed ACRs describing accessibility for many of its Azure services.
