Web Hosting - How to View Your Website's Usage Statistics

We provide web usage statistics for all web accounts (both Windows and Linux). We use a tool called AWStats to show you this data. You can see statistics for the past 12 months. We remove data that is more than one year old.

Windows IIS & LAMP Accounts

  1. Login to your Plesk control panel.
  2. Click the More Statistics link, then click the Web Statistics icon.

  3. This will open your AWStats report in a new window. Having trouble? If a new window doesn't open, check your browser's pop-up blocker.

  4. Enter your password - Your stats are password-protected. To log in, use the same username and password you use for Secure FTP.

  5. (Optional) Change your stats password

    1. You can change this password or add a new user:

      1. Go to the Password-Protected Directories page.

      2. Find the folder named /plesk-stat.

      3. Follow the steps to add or change the password for that folder. (For details, see Web Hosting - Password Protecting Your Site.)

For advanced statistics: These reports show a general overview. For more detailed analysis, you can download your site's "raw log files" and use Log Analysis Software. (See Web Hosting - Log File Access)

Try Google Analytics: For even more detail, please see Google Analytics. It's a free service that can show you where your visitors come from and how they use your site.
