The NetID Login Service has been tested with most common web browsers. See a list of compatible and recommended browsers below. If you need to update your browser to a compatible version, see the KB article Web Browsers - Updating Your Browser to the Latest Version

Required Settings

Make sure that the browser is set to accept cookies (from both 1st party and 3rd party).

Security Issues - Session states

Some browsers allow you to save your session state and reload it the next time you open the browser.  Users should be aware of the security implications of this setting.   Saving your session means that even if you exit the browser application entirely and reopen it, your NetID Login session will still be valid.  Especially if other users could have access to your computer, this is a significant security concern. 

Browsers that allow you to save sessions include:

• Chrome
