Update Email Address for AAE Mailing Lists
Instructions to update your email address for use in mailing lists.
AAE Mailing List membership is generated automatically from the UW's Directory Services. In order for members to be able to send emails to the list, their primary Office 365 Email address MUST match the UW's Directory Service. Follow the steps below to make sure you have the correct email address selected as your primary email address, and it is listed properly in the UW Directory.
NOTE: This procedure is only for staff and faculty members. Students cannot change their email addresses (unless they are employed by the UW).

- Go to https://email.wisc.edu/admin/
Check to see which email address is marked as Primary (eric.dieckman@wisc.edu in the example above). If you wish to have another address marked as Primary, click the Set as Primary link next to the appropriate address. More information about this can be found here. - Once you have the primary address, go into the Personal Information module in My UW-Madison Portal. Under Office Address, check the Campus Business Email
That is the address that will be subscribed to AAE Mailing Lists. You will want that address to MATCH your Primary email address. If they do not, click Change and enter in the Primary email address from earlier, and confirm it. Click Update.
It may take 24-48 hours for the change to be reflected in the AAE Mailing Lists.
