Firefox (Android) - Using the Pop-Up Blocker

This document explains how to enable and disable Firefox's pop-up blocker. For general information on pop-up blockers, see Pop-Up Blockers - FAQ.
Note: Users should normally be prompted by the app when a pop-up tries to open. This document is for setting the default option.
  1. In the search bar, type the following command as is: about:config

    Type about:config in the search bar

  2. In the new search bar, type dom.disable_open_during_load, and then locate the corresponding option.

    Type and locate the dom.disable_open_during_load command

  3. Click the toggle to change the setting to True or False. If set to True, pop-ups are enabled. If set to False, pop-ups are disabled. 

Toggle the switch to change the preference to True or False
