DSI - New Computer

Note: Communicate with the customer to back up data and determine additional software (beyond the required standard image) if you are replacing an old computer.

Steps to Image a New Computer

  1. Image the computer with the DEM image
    1. Place it in the correct OU. 
      1. DSI - Active Directory
    2. Under the additional software options, choose to install Oracle 11g.
  2. After imaging, confirm that the computer is in the correct OU.
    1. DSI - Active Directory
  3. Connect to Adm-Wireless.
  4. Install ImageNow.
    1. Install and Configure the Perceptive Content Desktop Client
  5. Before deploying, confirm function of software (make sure printers are installed, etc.).
  6. Schedule deployment time with customer.
