It can be used in harvesting cells for protein purification, in protein precipitations and solubility assays, and in clarifying solutions.

The Record laboratory manager, Emily Zytkiewicz, will oversee the centrifuge.


Training of all new users will be provided by Emily Zytkiewicz. The amount of training needed is of course quite minimal (e.g. balancing tubes, being sure the rotor is properly attached in the chamber).
