New Box web experience coming to UW–Madison August 2017

On August 14, 2017, UW–Madison will roll out a new Box web experience to faculty, staff, and students. The new web experience will feature a streamlined and intuitive layout to promote productivity and collaboration.
New features
- Cleaner and customizable layout.
- 30% faster downloads.
- 5x faster uploads.
- 3D, 360º, and HD file viewing for richer media experiences.
Timeline
- July 17th: UW–Madison Box will display a “Launch the New Box Experience” notification with a link to try out the new web experience.
- August 14th: The new web experience will be the default for all UW–Madison Box users.
- After August 14th: UW–Madison Box users will not have the option to revert back to the old web experience.
