UW Physical Plant uses a software system for managing work orders called ReADY. If you need to place a service request for your unit, you can access ReADY from the Physical Plant website, located here: https://wiscready.assetworks.cloud/. Log in with your UW netID and password and the software will prompt you for the information you will need to provide, such as building name, room number, description of the problem, and funding string. An email notification for all submitted service requests will be sent to the building manager and support staff. Physical Plant customer service will review your request. They will contact you if they need clarification and then create a work order for the relevant trade (electric shop, HVAC, etc.) when they have approved the request. The work order will then be processed, executed, and closed out when completed.
