[Updated 5/13/13] Learn@UW users may experience brief periods of application slowness.

An ongoing Learn@UW issue causes sporadic performance problems at intermittent times. The system might experience brief and seemingly random slowdowns lasting 3-5 minutes that affect some users at that moment.

If you are experiencing these slowdowns, we recommend the following:

  • Please report the problem to the Help Desk to help us diagnose the issue. Be prepared to be specific about the time of the problem and Learn@UW tools that are running slowly.
  • Wait a couple of minutes and try again
  • Frequently save your work in quizzes, discussions, etc.
  • Log out and log back in
