OS Compatibility Testing - macOS 27 (Golden Gate)

This article will detail the results of DoIT's compatibility testing of macOS 27 (Golden Gate).

Testing Details

Testing is being conducted using macOS 27.0 on a 2020 13-inch M1 MacBook Pro, a 2023 M2 Mac Mini, and a Mac VM. 

Recommendation

macOS 27 is currently undergoing compatibility testing and is NOT RECOMMENDED to be used until testing is complete. Upgrading is currently not allowed on DS managed systems. One major issue with critical management software Workspace ONE has been found and macOS 27 will remain not recommended until the issue is corrected by the vendor. 

Once initial testing is complete, full results will be published in this article below.
