Description of Envoy and how it works

Envoy - Front Desk Check-in Application

Envoy is the application that will be used for Front Desk check-ins of visitors at the Discovery Building, Morgridge Institute for Research and WID. Application will be on 2 Kiosks located at the Guest front desk on the 1st floor and will allow for notifications to be pushed out to employees that the visitor is here in the building.

Envoy will be used to schedule and allow visitors to check-in with employees in the Discovery Building.

Here are the setup instructions and important features of Envoy.

First thing is the login page and link to the dashboard for Envoy.  This can be logged into with your SSO credentials.

After you have visited the site, put your email into the email field

Once you click next you will be given an option to enter your password or Log in using Single Sign on, if you are a Morgridge or WID employee you can use Single Sign on.  If you are a non-employee you will need to enter your password.

Once you have fully logged in, you can then schedule invites and send notifications to a visitor.  Please visit the following KB to see how to schedule the invites.
