Dell Command | Update (DCU) is a Dell utility that allows you to automate driver, BIOS, and firmware updates on your Dell computer.

The Dell Command | Update tool allows you to keep your computer up to date without you having to know every driver or update needed. It interrogates your computer and compares it to the available updates on dell.com/support for your specific computer.

      Instructions

You can find the Dell Command | Update application listed within the All apps menu under the Windows taskbar icon.
      Click on "All apps" button

Click on Dell Command | Update to open the application.
Click on "Dell Command | Update"

Click the Check button to allow DCU to identify any available updates for the computer.
      "Check" for updates

Depending on how current your system is, you may have several updates, or like in this case a single update. Select any Security Updates, Critical Updates, or Recommended Updates and then click the Install button.
      "Install" available updates

When the installation is complete, click on the Check button again and install any newly available updates. If there are no more updates click the Close button.
