Finding a Facility
There are several ways to view a specific facility in CSI. Below are the two most common methods: Facilities Via Filtered Views and Facilities via Reports.
Facilities via Filtered View
One of the primary ways to view interactive facility details is through the 1.20 Facilities View, which consistently displays the facility details available within the system.
Accessing Facilities via View 1.20:
From the Home Page:
- Navigate to the Home Page
- Click on “1.20 Facilities” under the View header
From the Left Sidebar:
- Select the Floor Plan Icon
- Expand the View section
- Click on “1.20 Facilities”

Refining Options
The 1.20 Facilities offers multiple ways to locate a specific facility based on various attributes, including Quick Search, Direct Filtering, and Field-Based Filtering.
- Quick Search
- Use the View Search Box to search results for all facility fields
- Confirm search results are displaying expected results
- Direct Filtering (good for known facilities):
- Select a Facility Number or Facility Name or Facility Legal Name
- NOTE: Use the ‘Contains’ field operator when only part of the name is known.
- Field-Based Filtering (Flexible Criteria):
- Filter on one or more fields available in the Facility View, such as:
- Site
- Address
- Facility Type
- Ownership
- Program Use
- Filter on one or more fields available in the Facility View, such as:

Displaying Single Facility Details
Selecting a facility from the result table (Example: Memorial Union in blue highlight) displays its details in the lower window in three areas:
- Top Details – Lists facility number, names, site, and address details
- Facility Details – Lists facility characteristics, dates, funding, utility connections, conditions, and record details.
- Floors -- Lists interactive links to each floor in a building
- Clicking on a floor from this list opens that floor’s details
- From the Floor record, the View box icon opens that floor plan

Facilities via Reports
Reports can be used to find multiple facilities or export facility data.
Available Facility Reports
There are two different facility reports initially available in the CSI software, outlined below.
- 1.20 Basic Facility List – A report with basic information such as facility name, number, and address.
- 1.21 Facility Detail Report – A report containing a wide range of facility details often used by campus partners.
Accessing Facilities via Reports
From the Home Page:
- Navigate to the Home Page
- Clink on the desired facility report
From the Left Sidebar:
- Open the Floor Plan icon and expand the Report section.
- Click on the desired facility report

Report results
The report will open with the following results from the CSI at the time the report was created.
- Name of report
- Date printed
- Disclaimer details
- Report results for all facilities

Customizing Reports
Customizing reports can structure the results to match a business need.
- Results can be customized by selecting columns, sorting, and/or filtering the results using the tools to the left of the report results
