Access to CSI
Access to Campus Space Information (CSI)
Everyone with a UW-Madison NetID can log in to CSI, but not everyone has permissions to use it. Your level of CSI access is determined by your UW–Madison affiliation. The Space Management Office provisions users with access and permissions appropriate for their campus roles and responsibilities, consistent with campus policies.

Optimizing CSI Performance
Space Management works on continuous CSI improvements. This includes working with the vendor platform updates. There are a few things that you try to help performance on your computer.
Recommended Browsers
- CSI works best with Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge.
- Switching to one of these browsers may resolve performance issues if you are using a different one.
NOTE: Training videos and snapshots are done using Google Chrome. Other browsers may have slightly different icons and functionality.
Performance Slowness
At times, CSI may experience slow response times.
- Closing the current web page and reopening CSI in a new browser tab can help temporarily resolve the issue.
- Performance improvements may be addressed in future software updates.
