Help Desk LiveChat is a web-based chat system that provides real time communication with DoIT Help Desk staff. Click the LiveChat button to initiate a chat session. Fill out the short form with your question, then select "Submit" to start chatting with a Help Desk agent.

If you need help with your NetID password, generating a Duo bypass code, or with your Duo device, please call the Help Desk at +1-608-264-4357 (264-HELP).

We cannot reset passwords via LiveChat. 

We cannot provide Duo passcodes, Campus IDs, or NetIDs via LiveChat.

Summer Hours of Operation

During the summer, Help Desk agents staff LiveChat:

  • Monday through Friday: 7am to 9pm
  • Saturday and Sunday: 12pm to 5pm
