National Competitive Fellowships and Grants
GEM Fellowships: enables qualified students from underrepresented communities to pursue graduate education in applied science and engineering.
Charlotte W. Newcombe Doctoral Dissertation Fellowship: supports the final year of work on Ph.D. dissertations dealing with ethical or religious values in fields across the humanities and social sciences.
Paul and Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans: program honors the contributions of immigrants and children of immigrants to the United States.
International Dissertation Research Fellowship (IDRF): The Mellon International Dissertation Research Fellowship (IDRF) offers 9 to 12 months support to graduate students in the humanities and humanistic social sciences who are enrolled in PhD programs in the United States
and conducting dissertation research on non-US topics.
