This document contains information about spring semester training sessions for teaching assistants in the College of Letters & Science.

When: January 16th, 2020, 8:00am-12:00pm

This session is intended especially for new TAs who have not taught prior to the spring semester, but all L&S TAs are cordially invited to attend.

Over the course of the morning we will:

•Work through scenarios that TAs can expect to encounter
•Discuss teaching tools to use right away, and develop ideas for later in the semester (and in years to come)
•Convey the clear message that the TA position is an important step on a professional journey, and that our students need effective TAs in order to succeed!

No pre-registration is required, and refreshments will be provided.
