The ScanSnap Home application may run into errors updating. Follow these steps to update the application.

1. Use Make Me Admin (Windows) to become an administrator.
2. In your Start menu, search for Online Update but do not open it yet.
3. Using the menu on the right side of the search, select Run as administrator:
   
4. Proceed through the update as usual. You may need to select the updates you'd like to do.
