3DDRL Visual Studio Setup Instructions

This document goes over the install process for Visual Studio to allow Unreal Engine to package games.
  1. Download the Visual Studio installer by clicking this link, and run it: 

    https://aka.ms/vs/stable/vs_community.exe

  2. Once the installer is open, select the following workloads:
    1. ".NET desktop development" under Desktop and Mobile
      1. .NET Desktop Development
    2. "Game development with C++" under Gaming
      1. Game Development with C++
  3. Once the workloads are selected, click "Install while downloading" in the bottom right corner
    1. Install while downloading example
  4. Install will take a few minutes. Afterwords you will be prompted to restart the computer.
  5. You should now be able to package games in Unreal Engine for Windows.
