Microsoft 365 - How do I see how much storage I have left and/or clean up my Mailbox?

The information below shows how to keep your email storage low enough so that you can continue to use your email. It will include information about how to see the level of how much data you have and how to clean up your mailbox.

Important: deleted messages that are no longer available in your account (including the recover deleted items process) cannot be restored.

Outlook on the Web

  1. Sign in to Outlook on the web.
  2. At the top of the page, select Settings/gear icon located upper right corner of your browser.
  3. If prompted, select View all Outlook settings.
  4. Select General | Storage option within left hand navigational pane.
  5. All your folders will be listed.

You will see the amount of storage you are currently using and have the ability to delete messages from any specific folder.

Important: Deleted items may be recovered using the Recover Deleted Items process.
