Badger Data - Publishing a Tableau Workbook
When publishing a Tableau workbook connected to Snowflake to the server, you may encounter an error when attempting to embed your credentials. This document will go over how to resolve this issue.
If you encounter the following warning / error in Tableau Desktop when attempting to publish a workbook which connects to Badger Analytics, you will need to update the embedded credentials in the workbook prior to publishing.

Follow the instructions listed in this KB document: Badger Data - Adding Credentials to Tableau Server

In Tableau Desktop, click Server > Publish Workbook.

Under Data Sources, click Edit.

Under Authentication for the Badger Data connection, select Embed <Your NetID>@wisc.edu.

Click outside the Manage Data Sources window and click Publish.
