Flexible Work Arrangements
How to complete a Flexible Work Arrangement (FWA) in Workday and additional resources for employees and supervisors.
As part of the Nelson Institute's continued commitment to supporting flexible work, and in compliance with the UW-Madison Remote Work Policy, employees who work remotely (fully or partially) are asked to submit a Flexible Work Arrangement in Workday on a fiscal year basis (starts on July 1 and ends June 30). These were called Remote Work Agreements prior to the Workday implementation.
Employees will have until September 30, 2025, to submit their FY26 (July 2025-June2026) Flexible Work Arrangement via Workday.
