Zoom is rolling out an update to its web portal, featuring a cleaner, more intuitive interface designed to make finding settings and tools easier. The redesign mirrors the layout of the Zoom desktop application, making navigation seamless across platforms. This does not impact the Zoom desktop app.
What is changing on August 21?
- Updated Homepage: When you log into Zoom via a web browser, you’ll see a refreshed page with quick, direct buttons to start, join, or schedule a meeting.
- New Waffle Menu: The long navigation panel on the left side of the web page is being replaced. You will now switch between Zoom products using a grid icon (the "waffle" menu) in the top-right corner, which can be customized via drag-and-drop.
- Simplified Settings: To find your profile, settings, cloud recordings, or AI Companion summaries, click on your profile picture in the top-right corner and select My Account.
