MyUW System Portal - Update Employee Personal Information

Employee personal information can be updated or verified using the Personal Information app. Employees can use the app to edit their campus business email and access HRS to update other Personal Information such as address and phone.

UW System employees (including student employees) are eligible to use the MyUW System Personal Information app. For UW-Madison employees, please see 7132.

Access the Personal Information App

Log in to MyUW at my.wisconsin.edu and locate the Personal Information app. If needed, search for the app at the top of your homepage.

If you receive an error that your "Data could not be retrieved", please contact your Human Resources representative. The Personal Information app requires HRS data and an employee status to function properly, and your employment status may need to be updated. Update Personal Information

Campus Business Email

To update which email address is used for campus business communications, click Change. 

UW-Madison email addresses can also be changed using the Wisc Account Administration

Preferred Name and Address

Click Update my Personal Information to access HRS Self Service.

Employees can use the HRS Self Service to update their preferred name, home address, phone, emergency contacts, and more.
