DoIT Departmental Tech Support - Requesting Access to Licensed Software

Certain software requires the purchase of a license before it can be used. This document explains how DoIT Departmental Tech Support customers can obtain access to these applications. Individuals supported by IT units other than Departmental Support should contact their specific IT group for more information.

Titles currently available to customers that require a license for use:

  • Microsoft Project Standard and Professional 2024
  • Microsoft Visio Standard and Professional 2024

Licenses can be purchased via the Departmental Software Order Form. We recommend purchasing Standard edition of Project and/or Visio 2024 unless you require features that are only available in the Professional edition.

Once a license has been purchased, contact support@doit.wisc.edu to request assistance installing your licensed software. Please include documentation of your license purchase and the name of the computer you would like the software installed on.
