Documents which MyUW widgets are included in the new Madison MyUW landing screen by default, for which user roles.
In the new MyUW, the portal displays some widgets on the landing screen. Widgets are brief launchers that may summarize a bit of information about the linked application or website.
MyUW takes a guess at what widgets will be useful to you based broad identity information about you (things like whether you are a student, or staff, or an advisor, or ...), displaying those widgets to you by default.
You can re-arrange these, remove the ones not relevant to you, and add more items you find in MyUW via search or via browsing the available apps.
These are the default widgets in MyUW in the order in which they appear on the page. Any given widget will only appear on your MyUW home if you are in the audience of people who are able to use that widget - it would not be very helpful for MyUW to display items on your MyUW home that you cannot use. So a typical user will experience the relevant sub-set of these widgets as their default widgets. The set of widgets is the combination reflecting ALL the roles you have.
